This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) that complicareapp.com uses, and why. It should be read alongside our privacy notice.

What we actually use today

We keep this list deliberately short and accurate — we do not run any advertising cookies, and we do not currently run analytics cookies either. The banner you see asks for consent to optional cookies ahead of any being introduced; right now, only the strictly necessary items below are set.

• complicare.cookie-consent (browser local storage, strictly necessary) — remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we don’t show the banner on every visit. Set for as long as your browser keeps local storage for this site.
• Supabase session storage (browser local storage, strictly necessary) — used only on our staff sign-in and admin portal pages to keep an authorised team member signed in. Not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public site.

Analytics (cookieless)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are popular. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal data. Because it uses no cookies, it needs no consent and is not covered by the banner.

What we don’t use

We do not set any advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t use cookie-based analytics. If we ever introduce anything that does require consent, we will only load it after you actively accept optional cookies via the banner, and we will update this page to describe exactly what is set, by whom, and for how long — before it goes live, not after.

Managing your choice

You can accept or decline optional cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. To change your mind later, clear this site’s data in your browser settings (or use your browser’s “Cookies and site data” controls for complicareapp.com) — the banner will reappear on your next visit so you can choose again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, though this may stop parts of the site, such as the admin portal, from working correctly.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page whenever what we actually set changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
